Festival Chorale Oregon is a chorus of professional and amateur singers presenting a wide variety of classical and popular music. Festival Chorale Oregon is honored to have been performing under the direction of our founding director, Dr. Solveig Holmquist, for over 35 seasons. Formed in 1979 with eight members in Stayton, the Chorale has grown to an ensemble of over 100 singers.
For the past four years Festival Chorale has partnered with Holy Cross for the use of their facilities for Tuesday evening rehearsals. This partnership has fostered a great relationship where Festival Chorale members help support Holy Cross through monetary donations or through donations of clothing and school supplies. And not to forget flipping pancakes for the Lenten Supper! Together we make a great team helping those around us.
