Making the space beautiful for Christmas

Beauty is a great thing, and our worship space at Holy Cross is really beautiful. Folks use their artistic gifts and imagination, and just plain common sense and things happen. We took pictures of the crew who showed up December 15 to decorate the sanctuary for Christmas – the fun we had, and the camaraderie we shared as we adorned the space is evident in the smiles and joy on all the faces! Enjoy! (oh, yes, and there was pizza!)

Wearing Red On Reformation Sunday

Clothing as an act of resistance? Well, this fall I’ve been wearing black on Thursdays, as have a lot of my clergy colleagues – in visual support of ending sexual violence. I admit it is a small step, and perhaps not even a particularly visual step, but I have found it to be meaningful for me. And I advocate it for you, dear reader, for this Sunday, October 27th, 2019.
